Corrections are made on the page, dated and described. Below is also the list of things we genuinely cannot help with, including anything clinical.
Editorial
Corrections, disagreements and questions about anything published here. If you are telling us we have got something wrong, please say which page and which sentence. We would rather have a correction than be left alone.
This form subscribes you to a reply on the subject you selected. We use the address for that and nothing else.
Register enquiries
Read the criteria, rates and refusals first. It answers most of it, including the things we will not do at any price. If you still want a listing, ask and we will send the rate and the terms in writing.
What we cannot help with
- Anything clinical. Skin, ears, eyes, rashes, infections, reactions, anything that is not settling. Please speak to a pharmacist, a GP or NHS 111. We will not answer a health question by email and it would be wrong of us to try.
- Water quality at a specific pool. Ask the operator. They test it and they record it. See what gets tested and recorded for what you can reasonably ask for.
- Which sunscreen to buy. We do not recommend products, at all, ever.
- Whether a named facility, club or provider is any good. We have inspected nowhere and hold no view.
- Reporting an unsafe facility. That goes to the operator first and, if it is not resolved, to the Health and Safety Executive or the relevant local authority, which are the bodies with powers. We have none.
